Ever feel like you’re trying to juggle three balls with just one hand when it comes to balancing your busy life with trying to be healthy?

I totally get it.

Between work deadlines, family commitments, and social life, squeezing in time for ourselves and our health often takes a back seat.

But guess what?

It’s totally possible to make it work.

Let me share some tried-and-true tips that have helped me and many others keep health on the agenda, no matter how packed the schedule gets.

Start Small – It Really Matters:

I learned the hard way that you don’t have to turn your life upside down to be healthier. Small steps, people! It’s all about those little wins. Maybe it’s swapping your mid-afternoon bag of wine gums with an apple, or choosing water over coke. Trust me, these tiny changes add up they could equate to THOUSANDS of calories over the year!

Plan Like a Pro:

Okay, so hear me out. Spending a bit of time planning your week can save you tons of time and stress. I’m talking about meal prep, which has been a game-changer for me. Cook up a few days worth of lunches on Sunday with the help of a handy recipe provided by yours truly ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/18C5NMx_UkqOtqzxi6lbIZ4CuYAoSUagl/view?usp=share_link ) and you’ve got lunch sorted for days.

And those workout sessions? Put them in your calendar just like any other important meeting.

Be Smart with Your Time:

Got a crazy day ahead with back-to-back meetings?

Why not take a walking meeting? I’ve had some of my best ideas while on the move. And those short 10-minute workout videos? They’re a lifesaver when I can’t fit in a full session. Hell I even wrote a book on the move!

Breathe and Reflect:

When life’s going a million miles an hour, a quick pause can work wonders. I started doing 5-minute breathing exercises or jotting down things I’m grateful for. It’s amazing how this little habit can change your whole outlook.

Hydration and Snacks – Your Secret Weapons:

Carrying a water bottle has become second nature to me now. And for snacks, I stash almonds and dark chocolate in my drawer. It helps me avoid getting too hungry later in the day.

Get Creative with Fitness:

Who said you always need a gym to stay fit? Quick workout at home or aim to spread 150 squats into the day on days you can’t make it… And when the weather’s nice, a quick walk can be just what you need to feel amazing. It feels great to get moving, and it’s fun!

Remember, Rest Counts Too:

All this, and let’s not forget – rest is crucial. I aim for good sleep and I’m learning to be okay with taking a break. It’s not lazy; it’s necessary.
